The rules of Teen Patti are simple enough that a newcomer can pick them up in one round, yet the game has enough psychological depth to keep experienced players engaged for hours. Here is the complete rundown of how the game works at 32 Slot.
The Boot – Starting the Pot
Before cards are dealt, all players contribute a fixed boot amount to the pot. This is the minimum stake that ensures there is always something to play for from the first card. At 32 Slot, the boot amount is set per table tier and displayed clearly before you join.
Three Cards Each
The dealer distributes three cards face-down to each player. In the live version at 32 Slot, this is done by a real dealer drawing from a physical shuffled deck. The cards are dealt one at a time, clockwise around the table.
Blind or Seen – The Core Decision
Each player, in turn, decides whether to play blind (without looking at their cards) or seen (looking at their cards). Blind players bet at half the current stake. Seen players bet the full stake or more. Playing blind maintains mystery but keeps your costs lower — it is a psychological tool as much as a financial one.
Chaal or Pack
On each turn, a player either Chaals (continues and matches the required bet) or Packs (folds and exits the round, forfeiting their stake so far). The betting continues clockwise until only one player remains or two players remain and a Show is called.
Sideshow (Optional)
A seen player may request a Sideshow with the player who bet just before them. If the other player agrees, both compare hands privately. The player with the weaker hand must pack. Sideshow can be declined — you are never forced to show your cards early.
Showdown
When only two players remain, either can call a Show by paying the required amount. Both hands are revealed and the higher-ranked hand wins the entire pot. If both hands are equal in rank, the player who called the Show loses.
